How to kick dread and anxiety

Anxiety is just your body’s way of getting attention. It’s not an identity or a permanent state that defines who you are. It’s best to think of any anxiety you experience as an alarm or signal that something needs to change. The tough part is figuring out exactly what that change needs to be.

Make an Inventory

Time for a reality check. Feeling anxious means that it’s time to take a true inventory of your life, work, relationships, and values. This exercise in honesty will help you identify gaps between your current reality and your desired life. 

By acknowledging both the good things as well as the bad, the changes you need to make will become more clear.
