RFK Jr. on the family that doesn’t like him

Can one of America’s most influential families come back into power? According to the polls so far, probably not, but Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is determined to try. Next year, he’ll cast his lot against President Joe Biden. In the meantime, our latest Instaread takes a closer look at Kennedy’s memoir about his famous family.

Uncle Jack

RFK Jr.’s uncle was President John F. Kennedy. Robert, who was just nine years old when President Kennedy was assassinated in 1963, was in school when it happened. His mother raced to pick him up early, and the next few days were a whirlwind of activity. Robert still remembers the size and the silence of the crowds that had assembled for the funeral procession.
