The Weird Truth about Luxury Real Estate

Elite properties are often ghost towns because they serve as wealthy people’s secondary residences. Billionaires’ Row in particular is known as a way for rich people to park their cash, which makes for many empty units. The irony is that the semi-abandoned towers have affected many other New Yorkers, who have complained about the buildings’ impact on the neighborhood and the skyline.
